Sharing Excitement. Sharing Ideas. Sharing Community.
The HFS STEM Clubs comprise the Science, Cyber and Mathematics Clubs headed by Janavi Gupta, Krisha Patel and Japneet Kaur respectively. It consists of a cohort of 60 students who meet weekly to discuss and engage in club activities.
Apart from club-related activities such as fireside chats with knowledgeable people in the field of STEM, and watching documentaries, we also publish a monthly newsletter called 'Stemfinity.' The STEM Clubs aim to encourage critical and lateral thinking in high schoolers and change the often misleading perception of Science being tedious and/or boring.
We also organise the HFS Aphelion. It is a STEM fest that aims to celebrate STEM and how it colours the various facets of our lives because science is that great light of understanding that illuminates the darkest alcoves of our minds and enables us to rise above ourselves.
